What's really important

I would not like to be famous for several reasons. First, I think that fame is really only something that lasts a short time. I hope that my legacy will be through my children. By this I mean that what is important to me—my values, my faith, my character—will be remembered by my children. That is enough for me. Second, I like to have my privacy. Famous people are constantly followed to see what they are doing. I wouldn’t like the feeling that I can’t be anonymous if I wanted to be. Finally, I think there are more important things in life than pursuing fame. An important thing for me is getting a hug from one of my children and having him or her tell me, “I love you Mom.” That means my life is good.
